2 teens shot while walking down South Side street - Chicago Breaking News: "A 14-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl were shot this morning as they were walking down the street on Chicago's far South Side.
At about 12:35 a.m., police responded to shots fired in the 10400 block of South Wentworth Avenue in the Fernwood neighborhood and found the two teens with gunshot wounds, said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro. (Why were these 2 out at this time in the morning?)
The victims were southbound on Wentworth Avenue when someone opened fire, striking them both in their legs, Alfaro said"
