Canine officers search cars at NWI high school; no arrests made

Canine officers search cars at high school; no arrests made: "CROWN POINT Canine officers from Crown Point, Hobart and Hammond police departments searched the Crown Point High School parking lot but found no drugs or paraphernalia in any vehicles, and police made no arrests.
The Friday search was done with the cooperation of school administrators to ensure the safety of students and staff, a Crown Point police release said. The dogs walked around each vehicle in the parking lot to hunt for drugs. If anything suspicious was detected, officers pulled the operator of the vehicle from class so he or she could be present while police searched the vehicle."
