Message from Vice President Sarah Palin

I'm honored and humbled to join this historic campaign as John McCain's running mate. I feel privileged to join a man I admire and the man I know is ready to lead our country as the next president.

Some of life's greatest opportunities come unexpectedly, and this is certainly the case for me. I never set out to run for office. But life has taken me on a course that first led to the Alaska Governor's office and now the country's first female Republican vice presidential candidate.

I want you to know that John McCain and I will challenge the status quo in Washington. We're ready to address our nation's great challenges - from reducing our dependence on foreign oil to cutting wasteful spending and creating good jobs for Americans. I look forward to working with him to achieve every goal he has set out during this campaign to improve the lives of all Americans.

As the mother of a son serving in the U.S. Army and the commander of Alaska's National Guard, there is no doubt in my mind that John McCain is prepared to serve as our next Commander in Chief.

What I admire most about John McCain is his unwavering ability to put our country first and to ask for nothing in return for his decades of service. He's shown his resolve, toughness and strength of heart in the darkest of places; all in service to his country. This speaks volumes about the type of selfless leadership John McCain will bring to the White House.

Our team is ready to lead the country as the next President and Vice President of the United States. We're ready to win in November and we won't be able to do it without your support. If you want change in Washington, then John McCain and I are asking for your support. Please join our team today!

Sincerely,

Governor Sarah Palin

P.S. Now is your opportunity to get involved and join our team. I'm proud to be John McCain's running mate and I'm ready pitch in and do my part to win in November. And that means asking you for a campaign contribution. Senators Obama and Biden have amassed a massive war chest - with hundreds of millions of dollars aimed at defeating me and John McCain. Will you help our campaign by making a generous donation today? Any amount you can give will go a long way in helping our ticket. Your support is appreciated. Thank you.

Barack says YOU made it happen

This night could not have happened 40 years ago -- or even 4 years ago.

And it could not have happened without you.

You believed, against the odds, that change was possible. I felt your passion here tonight, and I know it was shared by millions of Americans who are building this movement all across the country.

Tonight is your night. But tonight is just the beginning.

The general election is going to be faster and tougher than anything we've faced so far. And our opponents will do everything they can to tear us down.

I need your support more than ever.

Make a donation of $25 or more right now:

https://donate.barackobama.com/thebeginning

Our party is united. Our purpose is clear. And our goal is in sight.

Thank you for everything you've done,

Barack

the general election has officially began

After we walked off the field at Mile High, Barack and I had some official business to attend to -- signing the papers to add our names to the ballots.

At that moment, the general election officially began.

Since you've been at the core of this campaign every step of the way, we thought you should be there too.

Watch this short behind-the-scenes video and make your first donation to the general election now.

This new phase of the campaign will move quickly. By the time you read this, we may even know who John McCain has chosen to be the next Dick Cheney.

No matter who it is, it won't change the fact that John McCain simply isn't prepared to bring the change we need.

But far more important than McCain's choice is the choice of whether we tackle the general election with the fierce urgency that the stakes demand.

And that choice is yours.

Please make a donation of $5 or more today:

Thanks,

Joe

Jill's campaign to restore Indiana's promise

Are you as inspired as I am by last night's speech?

Our party's message of change is touching voters all across America, including right here in Indiana. Every day, in every corner of Indiana, more Hoosiers - both Democrats and Republicans - are joining in our campaign to restore Indiana's promise.

However, in order to spread that message of change for our state, and fight back against our opponents' well-funded machine, I need your help.

Please make a contribution of $20, $50, $100 - or whatever you can afford - today:

https://donate.hoosiersforjill.com/page/contribute

Just last week, hundreds of volunteers phoned over 100,000 Hoosiers from one of our campaign offices and from their homes to spread our message of change. The response was overwhelming.

Thousands of Hoosiers we talked to share a desire for new leadership in our state - leadership that will re-start our economy, create good paying jobs, make healthcare more affordable and accessible, and work to reverse our rising high school drop-out rates. With your help, we can bring that leadership to Indiana.

Please make a contribution of $20, $50, $100 - or whatever you can afford - to help bring our message of change to the kitchen tables and living rooms of Indiana families:

https://donate.hoosiersforjill.com/page/contribute

As our campaign moves forward over the next 67 days, Dennie Oxley and I will be getting our message out to Indiana voters in every way possible: knocking on doors, making phone calls, and airing TV ads.

We need your help to be a part of this effort - and making a contribution is one important way you can get started.

Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

Jill Long Thompson

Can Barack do anything wrong in his supporters mind?

The first time I ever heard Barack speak was at a community meeting on the South Side of Chicago.

He won me over with the same message that inspired millions last night.

He told people who'd been knocked down that, despite everything, we need to set our sights on a better place around the bend -- and that it's up to each one of us to fight for it.

That's where you come in.

More than two million supporters already own a piece of this extraordinary campaign. Will you join them by making your first donation right now?

Make a donation of $5 or more today:

https://donate.barackobama.com/lastnight

Now that the convention is over, time will fly between now and Election Day.

And the next two days are especially important.

The August fundraising deadline is this Sunday at midnight, and we can prove that a campaign funded by grassroots supporters can compete with John McCain and the Republicans.

The past four days in Denver -- and the amazing event last night -- showed the country that Americans are ready for change.

Now it's up to each of us to make it happen.

Thanks for everything you're doing,

Michelle

We're getting the message out about Jill's campaign

This past weekend, our campaign set a goal: to make 50,000 phone calls in two days to Indiana voters.

Well, we didn't reach that goal - we smashed it.

Using cell phones at home and office lines at our campaign's regional offices, volunteers around the state called over 100,000 Hoosiers about Jill's plan to change Indiana.

We're getting the message out about Jill's campaign, but we need your help to keep the phone calls and TV ads going from now through November. Keep this momentum going by making a donation of $20, $50--or whatever you can afford--today.

https://donate.hoosiersforjill.com/page/contribute

Ali, our Regional Field Director in Fort Wayne, describes the weekend:

"We had a great time. Our call room was full of people eager to get Jill elected. We got some pretty powerful responses from Hoosiers on the other end of the line that have been suffering under the Bush/Daniels administrations. One of out volunteers spoke to man, a former Marine, who had stage three cancer and is receiving little to no help from the current administration. He said we need to ditch Mitch and get Jill into office!"

With every phone call we make and every TV ad we air, we're connecting with Hoosiers like the ones Ali described - people who are fed up with the status quo of our current administration and ready for change.

Help Jill to keep conntecting with Indiana coters by making a donation of $20, $50--or whatever you can afford--today.

https://donate.hoosiersforjill.com/page/contribute

Thank you for helping Jill Long Thompson and Dennie Oxley take back Indiana.

Sincerely,

Travis Lowe

20,000 Democrats unified behind Senator Obama

Standing on that stage tonight in front of 20,000 Democrats unified behind Senator Obama, I saw a bright future for America. I saw millions of people across the country working as one to elect the next Democratic President. I saw a new President and a new Congress giving a voice to the voiceless. I saw America, the land of endless potential, regaining its role as a leader in the world.

I couldn't be prouder of our party, of our nominee, and of all the work you and I have done together over the course of this campaign on behalf of the American people.

I knew that as I stood in front of that podium, I wasn't alone. I had you, and everyone who has supported me, standing right up there with me. And that means the world to me.

Thank you again for everything you've done. Now let's get to work helping elect Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and all of our great Democratic candidates!

Sincerely,

Hillary

Barack will accept the Democratic nomination

This has been a convention of extraordinary moments. Ted Kennedy passing the torch to a new generation. Michelle Obama moving the crowd to tears. And tonight, Joe Biden will give the biggest speech of his life.

Millions of Americans are watching and counting on us to win this election and deliver real change.

They're not just counting on Barack and Joe -- they are counting on you. Hillary couldn't have said it better: "None of us can afford to sit on the sidelines."

This is our one shot, so let's roll up our sleeves -- or risk another four or eight years of the same disastrous Bush-McCain policies.

Sign up right now for events happening this week in your community.

Tomorrow, Barack will accept the Democratic nomination, and supporters all across the country are getting together to be a part of this historic moment.

Then, this weekend, we'll kick off the biggest voter registration and mobilization drive in the history of politics.

Attend a Convention Watch Party this Thursday evening, and find a Weekend of Action event near you:

http://my.barackobama.com/WOAevents

If this convention has shown us anything, it's how much energy and enthusiasm is out there -- and how much passion for change.

Voters in all 50 states are realizing what's at stake. And they're hearing Barack's message of change in every corner of the country.

Let's seize this incredible opportunity and work together to get out the vote like never before.

Attend a Convention Watch Party and sign up for a Weekend of Action event near you.

Supporters like you have brought us this far, but there's still a lot work to be done.

At this crucial time in our campaign, it's never been more important to get involved.

Thanks,

Jon

Hillary Clinton congratulates Joe Biden on becoming the vice presidential running nominee

I want to congratulate Joe Biden on becoming the vice presidential running nominee. Joe is a friend and colleague, a strong experienced leader and a devoted public servant. I look forward to not only seeing him in Denver next week but on the trail as I work to help Barack Obama and Joe Biden along with many other Democratic candidates campaign this fall.

Democrats are going to have a great and unified convention in Denver next week, and I can't wait to be there. I am looking forward to visiting my friends and colleagues from New York, stopping by events like the Emily's List reception, and doing everything I can to champion Barack Obama along the way. Of course, I will also be getting ready for my speech to the convention on Tuesday night. You can see for yourself by following my convention activities on our website at HillaryClinton.com, as well as on social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter.

And I'm very excited to meet Joseph Gerou, a second grade teacher from Kenosha, Wisconsin, who won our contest and will be joining me in Denver. I am looking forward to hearing more from him and so glad he can join me for this historic event.

I can't thank everyone enough for your generous support over the past few weeks. It means so much to me personally to know that I can count on your continued friendship as I work hard to help elect Barack Obama and our other Democratic candidates in 2008. I wish you could all come with me to Denver. So I hope you will do the next best thing and stay tuned. Please keep coming back to the website to see all we are doing. I will be updating you regularly with photos, video, email and more.

This is going to be a week to remember filled with many memorable and exciting moments as Democrats come together. I hope you will join me in celebrating.

Thank you again for your hard work and your generous spirit.

Sincerely,

~Hillary
